2km Swim Classic will start at 10.10am
Registration tables open at 7:15am and close at 8:30am
All swimmers will be issued with a number and official cap, which
must be worn for safety reasons during the entire running of the event.
Each entrant will also be fitted with a secure ankle band which has
their individual computer chip (Multisport Australia). The ankle band must be
worn at all times during the race. At the finish, entrants simply run
over a special pad finish strip and their data is scanned and recorded
into a computer. The ankle band must be returned to a race official
before leaving the Man O' War steps.
Entry
Eligibility
Swimmers aged 13 - 65+ years, who have trained adequately and
are of sufficient physical health to complete the swim.

Once you have entered yourself as an individual, your nominated Team captain may then enter your team (in one category only: school, pool and club, corporate business, government agency, and family divisions) at no extra cost!

Entry Deadline
Entries must be received by 7pm on Friday the 29th of February 2008.
Entries received after that date will be deemed late entries.
Late Entry
Entries on race day will be accepted only between 7.00am to
8.30am or until the maximum number of entrants (1000) is
reached. No late entries will be accepted after 8.30am.
Cancellation
The race organisers reserve the right to cancel the race due to weather
conditions or other safety consideration. In the event of cancellation,
there will be no refund of entry fee.
If in the opinion of an event medical officer or a water safety official a competitor is physically or otherwise incapable of starting or completing their swim, or has been in the water for an inordinate time, such competitor may be disqualified from starting or be removed from the water at any time.
Prizes
All entrants that finish will be awarded a certificate on the day.

Competitors swimming in the 2k Sydney Harbour Swim Classic wearing wet suits or extraneous aids eg. flippers, snorkels or flotation clothing or other devices are ineligable for prizes.
