Dear Sydney Harbour Swim Classic Swimmers,

To all of you who have swum in the Sydney Harbour Swim Classic during the past 11 years, more than 5200 swimmers; or were interested in swimming this year, we unfortunately must announce that the 2013 Sydney Harbour Swim Classic will not be held.

As 2013 begins, the challenge of raising awareness through events such as the Sydney Harbour Swim Classic has greatly increased. In a climate where sponsorship funding has become so limited, this year, running the event itself has become unachievable for us to raise the necessary sponsorship dollars to run a successful swim this year. Thank you for showing interest to be part of the Sydney Harbour Swim Classic – show your continued support by liking us on Facebook today and we will endeavour to get the swim back running in 2014.
